The Mysterious Tulip Blend, Tulipa, is a blend that is not only about the intriguing and intense colors, but also about the beautiful and uniquely-shaped blooms. The mixture contains tulips in a blend of the deepest reds and the darkest purples, some accented with white or ivory, illuminated by some pure white tulips that shine like stars in the midnight sky. These tulips bloom in late spring for a 3 week period.

For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. Tulips do best in well-drained soil. It is advisable not to plant tulips in the same location in the garden year after year. If possible, plant in a somewhat sheltered location. Tulips are excellent for mass planting, rock gardens, containers, cut flowers, and borders. Tulips make excellent cut flowers and usually last about a week in a vase. Don't forget to add a little sugar to your water to prolong the life of your bouquet.
