Cherokee Purple Organic Heirloom Mid-Early Tomato has been handed down from the Cherokee tribe. It a short stalky plant that bears flattened 10 to 12 oz. globes. It is dusty purple in color, quite juicy, sweet, and has a very delicious flavor. It is an indeterminate which means it grows long, sprawling vines and produce tomatoes continuously throughout the season. These productive plants do well in dry conditions and produce heavy crops. This heirloom exhibits tolerance to mild drought as well as to common diseases. Plant seedlings outside after the last average frost date.
