Lemon Drop Organic Currant Tomato is the most flavorful miniature yellow currant tomato! It makes a very nice sweet/tart complement in a bright yellow, 3/8" diameter fruit. The yellow tomatoes possess a much higher natural sugar content, due to their color, than the red ones. The super sweet fruits are borne in big clusters on a tough, disease resistant vine. Lemon Drop was selected as our best yellow out of 50 currants for great flavor and yield. This wild tomato from South America is actually a different species (Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium) than the American commerce tomato.
