Stokes Aster Purple Pixie, Stokesia 'Purple Pixie' PPAF, is the first ever dwarf Stoke's aster! At less than 1' tall, this little cutie makes neat and tidy mounds that are perfect for the front of the border. In mid-summer, Stokesia 'Purple Pixie' explodes into color with dozens of large violet-blue flowers followed by sporadic rebloom in the fall. 'Purple Pixie' will do best in a full sun area with morning shade and well-drained soil. It should not stay wet while in dormancy. Great for summer color in beds, borders, or containers.
