Seneca F-1 Zucchini Summer Squash are cylindrical fruits, medium green that have grey flecks, and they slightly expand at the blossom end. They have an open habit for easy picking, and you'll pick plenty with this endlessly reliable variety! There is none better in trials for earliness, uniformity and outstanding production. Plant seeds in late spring or early summer. Place seed 1/2" to 1" deep, 2-3 seeds per hill, spaced 2 to 3' apart. After the seedlings emerge, thin to one healthy plant.
