Bloomsdale Long-Standing Spinach is an Organic Heirloom. It has large spreading, deep green curled leaves. Bloomsdale is a good yielding classic home garden variety; dependable; fairly resistant to bolting. It can be sown in the fall for spring harvest in protected locations, but in colder climates the first crop should be sown in the spring. Then plant again in late summer. This spinach stands well, even in hot weather. Seed is planted up to one-half inch deep; allow 3 to 6 inches between plants.
