Serviceberry - Rainbow Pillar®

Rainbow Pillar® Serviceberry, amelanchier canadensis 'Glennform' (PP9,092), is an upright shrub that blooms in spring with lovely white flowers. The mildew resistant summer foliage is dark green, changing to a brilliant orange-red in fall. It has small, oval or elliptical leaves, with finely toothed margins and downy undersides. This is a perfect plant for screens or hedges. Rainbow Pillar® Serviceberry provides year-round interest in the landscape, as well as producing edible fruits. It grows to 20 feet with a spread of 8 to 10 feet and needs full to part sun. ... additional information

Forsythia - Spectabilis Allow plenty of room for plant to spread. `Spectabilis' (Showy Border Forsythia) is the most common forsythia. Often used to control erosion on steep slopes because tips of branches root naturally and plants spread easily. Suggested uses for this plant include border, specimen plant, and screen. Prune in spring after flowering so that buds for the next year can develop in the fall.
