Russet Burbank Organic Heirloom Potato has a russet colored skin, shallow eyes, and white flesh that is characteristic of this long-oval russet. This potato is great when baked, fried or boiled. It is long-storing and scab-resistant but needs a consistent moisture supply. Russet Burbank is the most widely grown potato in the U. S. originating from Luther Burbank's early plant breeding. A late maturing variety, it requires a 140 to 150 day growing season to produce maximum yields and quality. Russet Burbank's plants are vigorous, spreading, and have an indeterminate type of growth.
