The Dark Red Norland Organic Heirloom Potato is a deep red, with almost burgundy skin, shallow eyes, and white flesh. Always good in potato salad, it keeps well, has good disease resistance and moderate scab resistance. Dark Red Norland is easy to grow with consistent yields of beautiful round red tubers from large to small. Steam or boil some of these for those first early meals straight from the garden. It is resistant to scab; fair storage. Purplish-blue flowers bloom on this medium-sized plant. This potato stores well, even though it has a short dormancy. The red skin fades to pink in storage!
