Golden Cal Wonder Organic Pepper has smooth, blocky 4" fruits and is 4 lobed. The peppers are light green to start, then finishing golden yellow. Being very sweet and mild, it sets continuously. Peppers require deeply worked, well-drained soil with plenty of added organic matter, and they need to be watered deeply; don't overwater. Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost. They need warm temperature for germination. Transplant after first true leaves open. (Direct seeding is not recommended. ) Stake to keep fruit off the ground and mulch for disease and weed control.
