Peppers - Hot Peppers - Hungarian Wax - Org

Hungarian Wax Organic Hot Peppers are the best pick for growing hot peppers in the colder areas of the north. They are pretty, tapered yellow fruits that turn orange, then red and become hotter as they mature. Hungarian Wax is a medium-hot fruit that is 4"to 8" long. The “wax” in the name is a reference to the slightly waxy texture of the rind of the pepper. Despite the texture, the rind is perfectly edible and, in fact, very flavorful. Peppers demand warm soil and warm temperatures, but before planting them, if possible, start seeds indoors. Choose a sunny location with at least eight hours of sun each day that provides good drainage. Plant peppers outside three weeks after the last frost. Soil temperature should be 60 degrees or above. . ... details
