The Peach, Hale-Haven, Prunus persica, is a high quality peach that has a deep orange color all over with deep blushes of carmine. The brilliant color of the fruit appears several days before the fruit ripens. The pulp of the Hale Haven peach is firm, juicy, very sweet and richly flavored, being fully ripe in August. The Hale-Haven peach is a freestone peach has an excellent flavor so is good for desserts, canning and freezing.
