Geranium - Maverick Pink

The Geranium Maverick Pink , 'Pelargonium x hortorum', is a unique variety that offers beautiful pink flowers. The 'Maverick’ series has full flower heads in a mixture of colors including pink. They have zoned foliage on multiple stemmed plants reaching up to 18 inches tall. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Fertilize lightly every 2 weeks. Pinching of the shoots will promote bushiness. ... more

Petunia - Tidal Wave Hot Pink The Tidal Wave Hot Pink Petunia, 'Petunia x hybrida hedgiflora', has a growth habit based on how closely the plants are spaced in the garden. When spaced a minimum of 12 inches apart, it forms a dense, mounded hedge from 16 to 22 inches tall. Grown in restricted space with support, it will grow an extra 2 to 3 feet upward, like a vine. When given plenty of space, this petunia makes a floriferous groundcover spreading 2. The Tidal Wave petunia was a University of Georgia 1999 Gold Medal Winner. Tidal Wave petunias require no pinching or pruning. The low maintenance qualities and excellent weather tolerance make them well-suited for landscapes and large containers.
