It is a beautiful, true 8-rowed northern flint with deep golden kernels on 8" ears. It is a successful corn variety from Maine to Pugent Sound, probably of Iroquois origin. Vermont Yellow Flint has a nutty and rich flavor when ground for baking and cereal. Also great for old-fashioned roasting ears when picked at the milk stage.
