The Coral Drops, 'Bessera Elegans', is an Heirloom (1830) plant that produces up to 30 rich coral-red flowers which are accented by white stripes and scarlet-red midrib. The thin leaves spread out on the ground and the wiry stems produce fuchsia-like flowers. This plant prefers well-drained, sandy soil. This plant blooms in July and is hardy in zones 8-10.
