Caladium - Candidum
The Caladium Candidum, 'Caladium x hortulanum', are grown for their long-lasting, colorful foliage, and they are used in borders and beds. This fancy foliaged plant has green edges with pink and white centers. It is ideal for pots and hanging baskets on the porch or patio. Caladiums also bloom, but the flowers are insignificant and they drain energy from the plant. They should be pinched off as soon as possible. Caladiums need protection from full sun for the best growth and color. All parts of this tropical plant are poisonous, so caution is advised around children. ... more information
