2 Feet Select Plant Lilac - Tinkerbelle®
Lilac Tinkerbelle® Tinkerbelle® Lilac, Syringa 'Bailbelle' (PP12,294), is one of the Fairytale® Series and has an upright shape with incredible wine red flower buds. Tinkerbelle lilac is an excellent choice for foundation plantings or as a specimen. This lilac tolerates light shade, but best bloom quality and disease resistance occur in full sun. It prefers rich, moist, neutral soils. This upright lilac forms a wonderful small tree, with rosy-lilac buds that are wonderfully fragrant. It grows 5-6 feet in height and 4-5 feet in width. It is a rounded, upright, non-suckering, deciduous shrub, and is perhaps best noted for its compact shape.

Harry Lauder’s Walkingstick Harry Lauder’s Walkingstick, Corylus avellana 'Contorta', is noted for its contorted, twisted growth, making it a real conversation piece when grown as a specimen plant. This unique deciduous shrub has interesting gnarled and twisted branches so it is often not grown primarily for its blooms but for this unusual branching pattern. Harry Lauder's Walkingstick has terrific yellow fall foliage color with showy greenish-yellow catkins (as on pussy willows) that brighten the winter scene. It does well in large containers and likes full sun. It is a slow grower to 8 to 10 feet tall and wide and prefers well drained soil in sun to part shade. The branches are valued for their use in flower arrangements.
Alpine Currant

The Alpine Currant, Ribes alpinum, is a very hardy hedge plant that can be kept trimmed to any desired height from 18 inches to 4 feet. The abundant green, glossy foliage forms a dense hedge. Grows well in sun or shade and is rarely bothered by insects or plant diseases.

The Alpine Currant can survive the coldest of winter climates with annual temperatures as low as -50° Fahrenheit. It does well in dry soils. Alpine currant is drought tolerant

The Burning Bush, Euonymus alatus 'Compacta' has an outstanding red fall color. The deep dark red leaves almost glow with color in the fall. The plant is shade tolerant but has inferior fall color and reduced density in shade. The corky wings on the twigs hold winter snow, outlining the branch structure. This deciduous bush withstands acidic or alkaline soils and a wide range of temperatures.

Lilac Ludwig Spaeth Ludwig Spaeth Lilac, Syringa vulgaris 'Andenken an Ludwig Spaeth', is a French Hybrid Lilac with single red-purple flowers in early June that are excellent as cut flowers because of their very fine fragrance. Ludwig Spaeth tolerates light shade, but best bloom is in full sun. It prefers organically rich, slightly acidic soils with good drainage. Once it is established, it only needs occasional watering. With its lovely spring accent, it makes a wonderful screen or border specimen.
